Our Story

The Pursuit Church was born from a simple but powerful conviction: that God is calling His people into a deeper, more authentic relationship with Him. Founded by Josie and Alec Davis, our church exists to create space where men and women can encounter the living God, discover their purpose, and step boldly into the calling He has placed on their lives.

We believe the best days of the Church are not behind us—they’re ahead of us. We believe in a Kingdom that breaks through walls, transforms communities, and changes lives from the inside out.

Church isn’t meant to be contained within four walls or confined to Sunday mornings. We are the Church—the living, breathing body of Christ—called to carry His presence into every space we occupy. From our workplaces to our homes, from our neighborhoods to our cities, we believe God is inviting us to be His hands and feet in a world desperate for hope.

We gather not out of obligation, but out of overflow—to worship the One who pursued us first, to encourage one another toward love and good deeds, and to equip each other for the work of ministry that extends far beyond our services.

We Pursue Jesus Above All
At the center of everything we do is Jesus Christ. We believe that when we seek Him first, everything else finds its proper place. Our worship, our community, and our mission all flow from our love for Him.

We Value Authentic Community
We’re done with masks and pretending. We believe real transformation happens in the context of honest, grace-filled relationships where we can be fully known and fully loved. We laugh together, cry together, and grow together.

We Empower Every Believer
You are not a spectator in God’s Kingdom—you’re a vital part of the body of Christ. We believe every person has unique gifts, callings, and a specific role to play in God’s story. We exist to help you discover yours and step into it with confidence.

We Live on Mission
Our faith is not a private matter. We believe we are called to be light in the darkness, hope in despair, and love in action. Whether it’s serving our local community, caring for the marginalized, or simply being present with those who are hurting, we believe the Gospel is meant to be lived out loud.

We don’t have it all figured out, and we’re not perfect—but we’re committed to pursuing God together, growing in grace, and extending the same love and mercy we’ve received from Jesus.

Our Leadership

Josie & Alec Davis serve as the pastoral leaders of The Pursuit Church. Their heart is to see men and women walk in the fullness of their identity as children of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit and unleashed to impact their world for Christ.
